Video: Robot Sub Puts You in Great White’s Mouth
Ever wonder what’s it’s like to be devoured by a great white shark? Well of course it would be painful, but some have surely pondered this grisly fate with a sort of morbid curiosity. Most who endure the predicament rarely, unfortunately, live to give a detailed account.
Well check out this video, recorded in 2013 by folks from Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution in the waters of Guadalupe Island (off the west coast of Mexico). A REMUS SharkCam was deployed deep into waters teeming with great whites. They were curious to observe predatory behavior that can’t be witnessed from above the water.
The footage is absolutely bone-chilling!
Specifically, check the video at 1:28 and 3:04 as a particularly ornery shark goes full Beast-Mode on the REMUS. Just imagine being the focus of a great white’s intense fury!
