Described as “Dog Soldiers meets Friday the 13th,” John Woodruff’s new horror feature Animal Among Us stars Christian Oliver (Sense8, House of Good & Evil) and Larisa Oleynik (Mad Men, 10 Things I Hate About You) in a terrifying confrontation with a forest-dwelling killer – who may or may not be human.
The plot involves the disappearance and unsolved murder of two teenage campers fifteen years ago, resulting in the closing of Merrymaker Campgrounds. The deaths were officially declared to be animal attacks… but the real killer was never found, and is still lurking in the surrounding woods.
Written and co-produced (with Woodruff) by Jonathan Murphy (who also acts in the film), Animal Among Us also includes performances by Don Frye, Christine Donlon, Erin Daniels, Heather Tom, Jasmine Dustin, and Whitney Davis.
The film is slated for release on VOD and DVD on November 19 from Uncork’d Entertainment. Here’s the intense trailer:
