Similar to its 2014 previous predecessor Annabelle 2′ will be set in a family environment but not like one you’d might think. In the previous film Annabelle’ haunted a doll-collecting family of three, this time around she’s at home with her maker and his wife –a.k.a the couple responsible for the creation of Annabelle– as they welcome a throng of orphans and a nun into their home only for them to be subjected to the wrath of Annabelle.
Directed by Sandburg from a screenplay by Gary Dauberman (2014’s Annabelle), the flick once again is being produced by Master of Horror James Wan and Peter Safran. Also serving as producers, Toby Emmerich, Richard Brener, Walter Hamada, Dave Neustadter and Hans Ritter are listed.
The possessed flick hits theaters at the peak of Summer at the ripe date of August, 11th, 2017, as a New Line Cinema presentation, an Atomic Monster/Safran Company production and a distribution of Warner Bros. Pictures, a Warner Bros. Entertainment Company.
