Ice-T Jumps Genres to Star in Horror Flick Clinton Road
After years of working on popular cop drama Law & Order: SVU, the actor/rapper is changing gears a bit to play the lead role in “Clinton Road”.
The horror film is based partly off of the real life Clinton Road in West Milford, New Jersey. In the movie, Ice-T plays the part of a bar owner who has had his own extensive past with the road and the spirits that live around it. As with any horror film, there is much more to the road than meets the eye in this Steve Stanulis thriller.
Stanulis’ previous work has been all over the genre-map, though this will be one of the bigger productions he had done as a producer and the biggest one he’s done as a director.
Though production hasn’t started yet, it appears as though the movie is on track for a late 2018 release date. Horror movies are usually wrapped up much faster after filming is complete, and even though pre-production isn’t done as of yet, the movie will be hitting theaters, unlike the previous movies and shorts that attempted to cover Clinton Road.
Starring with Ice-T is Vincent Pastore, better known as Salvatore Bonpensiero on The Sopranos. While Ice-T is venturing lightly into the movie arena with this and one other film, Pastore is linked to over 20 movies not yet released.
