Netflix In July

Netflix and Chill is probably the most overused phrase as of late. As the saying implies, one settles down either to A. Actually watch a Netflix flick or B. Engage in extracurricular activities with the pretense of watching said film. Pretty harmless, right?

The creative minds at Umami Media and Cinecrowd has reported that NETFLIX AND CHILL a short horror film is currently in the works. The film was written and directed by Michael Middelkoop and according to Middelkoop:

“With Netflix & Chill I hope to deliver an absurd horror comedy that makes a bit of fun of our excessive media consumption. Also, there should be enough gore to make both John Carpenter and Wes Craven proud.”

The synopsis  of the film surrounds follows a young guy who finally receives the message he has been waiting for from the girl of his dreams. Her parents are gone for the weekend and she’s down for a good film on Netflix. As the night progresses, the young guy hoping to get lucky finds out that luck is having a day off.
