Angus, Reggie and spheres … Oh my!

In 1979, Don Coscarelli drilled into our heads, and hearts, a story of a boy facing off against a mysterious grave robber known only as the ‘Tall Man’ (Angus Scrimm) This teenage boy, and group of friends, go up against the Tall Man and his arsenal of deadly silver spheres. Angus Scrimm played the ‘Tall Man’. Michael Baldwin played ‘Mike’ ( the teenage boy) Bill Thornbury played ‘Jody’ (‘Mike’s older brother) and Reggie Bannister as ‘Reggie’ (the family friend).

The fandom that followed has been nothing shy of loyal and constantly growing. Well, it’s going to keep growing because the year of Phantasamania is here!

“It’s a swan song to the series. There’s some new iterations of those brain-shucking spheres and a lot of good stuff that the fans will enjoy. It ties up a lot of the storylines and answers some questions that fans have had.” Coscarelli tells EW. PHANTASM: RAVAGER reunites Baldwin, Thornbury, Bannister and Angus Scrimm.

Our community has missed Angus since his passing last January. Seeing him again will do us all good!
