Nicolas Winding Refn, the visionary director who brought audiences films like Drive, Only God Forgives, Valhalla Rising, and the savagely brilliant Bronson (starring a nearly unrecognizable Tom Hardy), will soon be stepping out of the arena of violent thrillers and fully into the world of horror.

This summer, Amazon Studios will be releasing his new film The Neon Demon into theaters. ┬áThe film stars Elle Fanning and Keanu Reeves, and looks to have influences ranging from Refn’s own Drive to Dario Argento’s Suspiria. ┬áThe trailer premiered earlier today.
