CURSED is the howling fun horror-comedy of 2005 directed by Wes Craven (R.I.P. We miss you) and scribed by Kevin Williamson.

When one of the masters of horror teams up with the Master of hormones in horror the result is a brilliantly fun werewolf saga, CURSED. Complete with horny young adults, few actual adults, perfect comedic timing, blood, gore and Greg Nicotero (and uncredited at that. You can see Greg in the film and he, of course, made the monster)

CURSED is a fitting title because the film is riddled with stories of production issues. It actually took a couple years for the film to work out all its kinks. As a result, it was stated that Craven wasn’t exactly happy with the end result. But taking the hell it went through to be made, it is a fun lighthearted picture-show.

The process of making CURSED was so prolonged it resulted in numerous cast members being cut due to scheduling and abundant overhauls to the script. Some of them were Skeet Ulrich, Mandy Moore, Omar Epps, Illeana Douglas, Heather Langenkamp, Scott Foley, Robert Forster, and Corey Feldman.

Fun Fact, in the film, Christina Ricci works on The Late Late Show with Craig Kilborn. But when CURSED is finally released, Kilborn left the show being replaced by Craig Ferguson.

Hoping to increase box-office success, the film shaved off two minutes of footage. This took it from an R rating to a PG-13.

CURSED is about a werewolf on the loose in Los Angeles and changes the lives of three young adults, who, after being mauled by the beast, learn they must kill their attacker if they hope to change their fate to avoid becoming werewolves too.
