Dario Argento is one of the greatest minds in the horror genre. This Italian film master is returning in a big way.

Argento is one of the, if not the most prolific minds in the Giallo style of filming. Giallo is the Italian murder mystery that includes horror fiction elements combined with eroticism.

In 1977, Argento released his cinematic work of art, SUSPIRIA. Going on to collaborate with George A. Romero on DAWN OF THE DEAD and so began his crucial influence on the historical value of the horror genre. And the master is coming back.

In an exclusive, Dark Universe:HD reports

I have a project, rather two. Let’s see what will start first. Of course it is always horror. It will be something new.” At the time, Argento decided to hold back.

Well, we managed to find out more information about one of Argento’s latest film projects.

First up, Argento is currently writing the script for his unknown film title, working alongside an american writer, and planning to shoot in Canada.

I’m writing a new film, along with an American writer, and should be shot in Canada, although it is not sure yet.”

Next up, Argento is also writing a new book.

“And, at the same time, I’m also writing a book of black fairy tales for adults.

Could this be a sign that so many of our horror four-fathers are going to return? One can dream and keep every finger and toe crossed! To have the foundation layers return and influence this new generation would be beyond epic!
