The producers of the upcoming London stage play ‘Harry Potter and the Cursed Child’ have announced that accomplished actors Jamie Parker, Noma Dumezweni and Paul Thornley will play the adult Harry, Hermione and Ron in this greatly anticipated production.


The play fallows Harry and his son, Albus. “While Harry grapples with a past that refuses to stay where it belongs, his youngest son Albus must struggle with the weight of a family legacy he never wanted.” The play was written by Jack Thorne, adopted from a new original story by J.K. Rowling, Thorne and John Tiffany, who is also the play’s director.

J.K. Rowling recently expressed her excitement over the casting news.

“I’m so excited with the choice of casting for ‘Harry Potter and the Cursed Child.’ I can’t wait to see Jamie, Noma and Paul bring the adult Harry, Hermione and Ron to life on stage next summer.”

‘Harry Potter and the Cursed Child’ will receive its world premiere at London’s Palace Theatre in the summer of 2016. If you’re looking to get tickets get in line, they’ve already sold out for the majority of the productions first year.
