Official Gerald’s Game Trailer From Netflix – It’s Just A Little Game
Mike Flanagan’s ‘Gerald’s Game’ is the twisted game you remember that you wish you hadn’t but can’t look away. A little weekend getaway sounds like a great idea. Netflix has released the first official trailer.
Breaking free will require more than keeping her sanity. Based on a novel by Stephen King, Gerald’s Game comes to Netflix on September 29. Only on Netflix
In GERALD’S GAME, Jessie (Gugino) and Gerald (Greenwood) are a married couple who travel to their remote summer home in an attempt to spice things up. In a strange turn of events, Jesse is left handcuffed to the bed left to face not only demons from her past but the tormenting voices in her head. And then there’s the presence in the house haunting her, which may or may not be real.
GERALD’S GAME reunites director Mike Flanagan with writer Jeff Howard. Flanagan’s credits include Netflix’s HUSH, OCULUS, ABSENTIA, and the upcoming : OUIJA: ORIGIN OF EVIL and BEFORE I WAKE. He will also team up with Intrepid Picture’s producer Trevor Macy in their fifth collaboration. Intrepid Pictures has the upcoming BYE BYE MAN on its current release slate. In a report by Deadline, Mike Flanagan said of the adaptation:
“Gerald’s Game has been my dream project for nearly 20 years,” Flanagan said. “As a lifelong fan of Stephen King, it is a true honor to be trusted with this amazing material. I am deeply grateful to my longtime partner, Trevor Macy, and to my new partners at Netflix, for making this dream project a reality. This is one of the reasons I wanted to make movies in the first place.”
The trailer looks great. Looking forward to this twisted creepy drama from the Stephen King library.
