After the successful season 5 coming to a close, American Horror Story has been renewed for a 6th season, but where could they possibly take us now? In an interview with TVLine, FX CEO John Landgraf stated,

“With the sixth installment coming next year, American Horror Story has unquestionably joined the ranks of television’s landmark series,” boasted FX CEO John Landgraf said. “From Murder House to Hotel, AHS has pioneered a new television form as well becoming FX’s highest rated show — while also pushing every conceivable boundary of creative excellence and audacity.”

But what does this mean for the fan favorites returning to AHS? Ryan Murphy has made his position very clear with new comer Lady Gaga who took American Horror Story by storm with her incredible character the Countess.

AHS alumni and star of Scream Queens, Emma Roberts, has been happy to offer herself for another season in an interview with Yahoo

“We tried to make it work, but I’m leaving town to go do a movie and they’re shooting the last two episodes right now, so Ryan and I said next season we’ll do something amazing and devilish,” Roberts admitted.

There is even a chance AHS’s queen bee, Jessica Lange, maybe up for a cameo or two! In her interview with The Wrap, Jessica let on she is not quite done with AHS.

“If Ryan came to me and said, ‘Would you want to do a small character for a couple episodes?’ I would absolutely say yes if I liked it. This was a great collaboration, so I would love to keep working with him.”

While no hints to next seasons theme have been released, there are many speculations on where AHS may take us know or how it will connect to past seasons. I know I’ve been waiting for the return of my personal favorite AHS cast member Zachary Quinton, but there is no telling what’s ahead!
